This is a blog about me and my Gaming Exploits. Computer and non-computer alike! (and also other random stuff I like - of course)
I've been LANning for about 10 years now, and playing PC games for about the same, however I have been playing console games for as long as I can remember.
I also play Dungeons & Dragons (refer to the title of the blog now!).
… But I have no idea what to buy …
I want something reliable with around 10-20 ports (Gigabit) but I don’t really want to spend more than about $250 AUD.
I have a linksys one which is about 3 years old, but it’s driving me to madness as it seems to get overexcited with all the networking goodness going on and just stops functioning.
Anyone got a recommendations?
Would I perhaps be better off with a Router or Managed Switch?
Oh Science Puns - Where have you been since I finished school?
i love this

So, Harvey Norman are having a huge game sale, and rumor has it Dick Smith Electronics are about to go down the same path.
There is a huge amount of speculation that these stores are ‘getting out’ of the games trade. They’re complaining of low sales and demand. It’s funny, because, I think if you looked at the manufacturer numbers, you’d see that the number of games registered / played by Australians isn’t exactly dropping… and don’t just go on assuming that this is due to Piracy (although, it is a factor I will get to in a moment). Look at Steam for example.
I just don’t see how these companies can even question why we would want to purchase games from them. I’ve got to say - I don’t remember the last time I actually purchased a game from a store in Australia (other than the one i got when i bought my 3DS).

Just found out I won a Diablo 3 Beta Key thanks to GamesRadar comp on Facebook.
Words cannot describe how freakin’ excited I am!
That is all (for now).

Recently, I was invited to a friends house for a Games night, we often have games nights in our group, and we tend to play some of the … I guess one might call them ‘Indie Games’ … (this particular friend has a penchant for KickStarter).
Anyway, we grabbed a few drinks, and sat down to a new game he’d started playing called Munchkin. First thing to note, this game is a lot of fun, and it helps if you’re not in the mood for a friendly game! (Alcohol will help to quell the inhibitions those who usually prefer to play it nice… )
We played quite a number of games, there were many chuckles, giggles and evil laughs, as well as quite a number of loud discussions (see rule sheet heading Contradictions Between Cards and Rules “Any disputes should be settled by loud arguments”) - we had a highly amusing night and I would quite happily recommend this game to anyone!
Zucchini, Garlic and Proscuitto Pizza
(I made it myself - I won’t say I made it from scratch because I hear that to do that you first need to create the universe…)
We received this fax at work. It made my day!
The fax, lead to an impromptu pizza, beer and officespace viewing at our place which was lots of fun - and a great way to end a work week!
Ben & Jerry’s came to our office and delivered 50 tubs of icecream!
OMG!!! I <3 Ice Cream.
I ate half a tub of Chunky Munky - it was DELICIOUS.
That is all

You know why I love this game? Well honestly there are many reasons - here are a few…
So, for anyone who spends an inordinate amount of time on Sydney Trains, requires easy entertainment for small children, or just has a vicious desire to hurt fruit - I recommend Fruit Ninja.
